The main goal of the institute has been the protection of Imam's written works in various fields and promote them and prevent them from any form of distortion, the reputed scholar noted.
Dr. Komsari further stated that any unpublished documents of Imam Khomeini will be published in the new edition of Sahifeh ye-Imam.
He went onto explain that the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works was established in 1988 by the order of Imam and under the management of Seyyed Ahmad Khomeini to preserve and promote the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic
The published documents of Imam are presented in the form of Sahifeh ye-Imam, and the new edition will reach 26 or 27 volumes with the addition of new documents.
Some confidential documents related to the Imam's political management and issues have not yet been published and will be published in accordance with international laws at the appropriate time.
Hojjat al-Islam stressed that the Institute has prevented the distortion of the Imam's written and spiritual works through means of expert and continuous measures.
Some more points from the interview come as following:
In the third decade, the institute's activities have focused on an explanatory and promotional approach with tools such as the Imam Khomeini portal, the Jamaran site, magazines, and festivals.
Due to the weakness of the educational system and the lack of appropriate texts, the younger generation does not have sufficient knowledge of the Imam's thought and character.
The proposal inclusion in compulsory courses such as the Imam's Last Will at universities have not had the desired results and may even create negative resistance in students.
According to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam's thought and ideals remain lie the software and spirit of the Islamic Republic, but cultural institutions have done little to promote it.
The Ministry of Culture, Higher Education, and the media do not have enough concern for introducing the Imam's thought, and symbols related to him are scarce in cultural events.
At marches and festivals such as the 10-dawn days, Quds Day or Arbaeen event, symbols and slogans related to the Imam are not given enough attention.
The institute alone does not have the ability to create a broad trend, and cultural institutions should become more active in introducing the Imam to the younger generation.
Imam's thought is a healing prescription for Iranian society, but the art of presenting it to the new generation has not been properly applied.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution mentions the Imam in every speech, but this view is less visible in the media and cultural institutions.
The young generation's lack of recognition of the Imam is due to the inaction and inattention of responsible institutions.
Institutions such as the Basij Education and Training and the Center for Intellectual Development should play a greater role in promoting Imam's thought and ideals.
Imam's thought and ideals are of a divine value and the basis of the legitimacy of the Islamic Republic system, and the exhaustion of the system's body must be prevented.
